The games are DRM-free, do whatever the hell you want with them without worrying about Valve revoking access to your account or your internet going down, like games should be in the first place. They may lack the gamification of the system (trading cards should never be on GOG), but GOG's charm is that it's pure and simple and right to the point. Forced updates are still a concern because there's no guarantee users would create a mod to rollback to an older version, while GOG Galaxy has support for rollback already (I wish it was also enabled on the site) and you know what, I also have the power over whether to update or not to update. Achievements are already possible via GOG Galaxy.

I'll give you the profiles and the mobile app. You can say Workshop (it's nothing compared to Nexus, not something), Big Picture (who the hell even uses that anyway), Greenlight (Jim Sterling says hi), early access (GOG has In Development games which is basically the same but with less scumbag developers and asset flips). These lists of features mean NOTHING if the price is basically sacrificing the ability of having the power over the games you bought. Steam can add whatever features it wants, and guess what? I'm still not using them as my primary source for games. Messaggio originale di DontBlink +_- UrDead: "Too long, didn't read? Too bad, don't ask."
